Step 4: Undergo clinical training
Clinical training has two components – with a licenced chiropractor and in the public healthcare system. The order is your choice, and you can divide your time among a number of different facilities.
Follow these steps
- You have to find workplaces yourself where you can do your clinical training.
- When you have completed your training, your manager and your supervisor will fill out a certificate for your clinical training. It should be one certificate for each workplace. In the introduction of the form, there is in-depth information for both interns and employers. This information should be read by both you as an intern and your employer before agreeing on clinical training. The appendix Statutes that are important in the work of a chiropractor (in Swedish) serves as a guide to working with regulations during your training.
- Enclose the certificates when you submit your application for a licence in the next step.
Certificate of clinical training is under construction and will be published here as soon as it is done (only in Swedish).
