We have been contacted by a number of people with information that they have received an SMS from the National Board of Health and Welfare with a request to click on a link. We would like to draw our applicants' attention to the fact that we do not send SMS regarding identification matters. If you receive an SMS with a link, do not click on the link.

Longer response times than usual

Due to high load, we have longer response times than usual both by phone and e-mail.

Contact our information service for answers to general questions about licences. 

Call at 9–10 am on Tuesday–Friday.

Please note that our phone ours will look different during the summer

  • Weeks 23-28 call at Tuesday-Thursday 09.00-10.00 am
  • Weeks 29-33 closed for phonecalls
  • Weeks 34-35 call at Tuesday-Thursday 09.00-10.00 am

Should you prefer to hand in your documents in person, please bring your documents to the National Board of Health and Welfare’s Reception at Rålambsvägen 3 in Stockholm. Reception opening hours are: 8 am to 17 pm. At all other times, please put your documents in the letterbox that you will find at the same address.
