Processing personal data
Personal data is all information that can be directly or indirectly linked to a living person, for example name, social security number, pictures, postal address and e-mail address.
Information about licence or protected professional title is also entered in the National Board of Health and Welfare's register of health care personnel according to regulation (2006:196) on the register of health care personnel. The information in the register is automatically updated against the population registration register. The National Board of Health and Welfare is obliged to keep an up-to-date register of certified health care personnel.
What you send to us becomes a public document
Your application becomes a public document when it reaches us. This means that the public and the mass media have the right to take part in the content, unless there is information that is classified according to the Publicity and Secrecy Act.
You have the right to request register extracts
Do you want to know what is registered about yourself in our registers? At reasonable intervals, you have the right to access this information free of charge by requesting a record extract (information i Swedish).
