Step 4: Undergo clinical training
During your clinical training period you demonstrate your practical knowledge and skills and your suitability for the profession. At the same time, you will see how the Swedish healthcare system works. You can begin the clinical training when you have passed the entire proficiency test.
Follow these steps
- You have to find a workplace yourself where you can do your clinical training.
- When you have completed your training, your manager and your supervisor will fill out a certificate for your clinical training (in Swedish). In the introduction of the form, there is in-depth information for both interns and employers. This information should be read by both you as an intern and your employer before agreeing on clinical training. You must also sign the certificate.
The appendix Statutes that are important in the work of a radiographer (in Swedish) serves as a guide to working with regulations during your training. - Enclose the certificate when you submit your application for a licence in the next step.
